This time, we're back with a twist! As stated last year during the 2009 European Championships, we hosted the 7th and last Mouzaka tournament. But, just because we're so good at making a mess of things and showing people a good time, we're coming back with one of the premier Jewel Events of the 2010 season, the Amethyst Championship.

Since this is a departure from our usual fare, we're actually changing the way the whole tournament is going to be run, from venue to actual plan. Instead of our usual hotels in downtown Athens, we're actually hosting the event in lovely Loutraki, at the Karellion hotel, so you can enjoy the sun and the beach while flipping cards and dropping beers.

While the official schedule will come out soon, on the rough we plan to have the qualifiers start on Saturday around 5pm (all the way to midnight) and finish off with the finals and a side event on Sunday, again starting a bit late in the day so that everyone gets a chance to spend two nice days at the beach (and a night in the town for all you naughty boys).

Entry fee: 20 euros

Hotel prices for the event: Single room (50 euros), Double room (75 euros), Triple room (90 euros) {this is actually a special price for the event, booking information will follow shortly)
