Nice post about lion, I agree with most of the stuff he says...

My basic theory for Central Castle is:

2 Lightwater Bays
13-14 holdings
A bunch of Personalities, each of whom should say, "Battle: Do something nasty to my opponent" and cost 6-8 gold.

The fate deck should have 39 red cards and one book, because reading is fundamental. Most of these red cards should say "draw a card" on them, and/or "Battle: Do something nasty to my opponent", or occasionally "bring a guy into play prior to the attack phase". It's a pretty focused deck setup.

Alternately, because it's Lion, you can do almost anything else since you draw infinite cards and have good personalities you're not even using in this deck. You can play 7 cavalry guys and Versatile Army if you're in the mood. You cannot play Tamago.

Others will disagree. You should see how terrible Hadsall thinks my deck is. And since I know most loyal Lion players are master tacticians in their own rights who wouldn't be caught dead taking advice from a Cheese Loving Hippies scrub like myself, I'm sure there are other ways to play the Clan that allow their true military genius to shine through, like running followers or Shigetoshi or something. But I'll probably never discover those advanced plays.
