According to the Imperial Herald magazine, there is a new tournament series forthcoming - for Level 10 events, I guess -, which will be called the Jewel Champions.
In the new series Imperial Jewel Champions are differentiated from the Spider ones.

Emerald Champion
Jade Champion
Amethyst Champion
Ruby Champion
Topaz Champion (not part of the new series)
The non-Topaz Champions will hold yearly tournaments normally held to fill the lifelong positions to choose favoured vassals and advisors to the respective Champions.
A new position, the Torquoise Champion will be the greatest artist in the Empire among the samurai caste. He or she will "have one year to sponsor art and beauty throughout the land in whatever manner is best suited to him" or her.
Spider Clan
Daigotsu has ordered the Obsidian Champion and the Onyx Champion to hold an annual tournament. Unlike the other Champions, however, those tournaments will determine who will hold the office.
