After a long day filled with hard games and rivers of beer, George Baltas playing his spider Big Oni deck literaly smashed through the competition to claim the top spot in the 2010 Athens Kotei. Congratulations on an excellent performance George!
Keeping up with the tradition set at the 2009 European Championship, second place went to our resident pirate Alexis Chionis who once again got close, but no cigar. Third place went to Kostas Adamopoulos with a funky Dragon Weenie monk/dueller while the big gorilla of the Crab Panos Georgopoulos run out of steam (or as the courtiers silently whisper in the halls out of "allowed" playtime) at the top 4.
Excellent games all around, lots of fun and abundant prizes. Honor went to Denni-Kai dojo for their usual theatrics and an awesome Crane banner, with second place going to -gasp- Mirumoto Macfrenzy who apparently after much mediation got in touch with the hidden artist within. Third place of the banner contest to the Scorpion, with a regrettably modest effort, much like our performance all day long in the games :(
We'll leave you for this year with a video from the banner contest. Wait for the long download if you dare!
